Trump was RIGHT to boot ‘zealot’ Jorge Ramos; O’Reilly explains why activist is dishonest

bill-oreilly-topperFox News host Bill O’Reilly sided with Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump over the mainstream media Wednesday — and blasted immigration activist Jorge Ramos in the process.

O’Reilly called the media’s coverage of Trump’s dust-up with Univision anchor Ramos dishonest, saying Trump had every right to have the journalist ejected from a Q & A session at a campaign rally.

“It all began when Mr. Ramos jumped the line and began asking Mr. Trump about his immigration policy when he had not been called upon,” O’Reilly said.

Then, when he was allowed back in, Ramos spent the time grandstanding.

“Jorge Ramos has now become an advocate for people who enter the USA illegally, and that has superseded his job as journalist,” O’Reilly said, arguing Ramos went to Iowa to try to debate and embarrass Donald Trump, not to get answers for his audience.

“Talking Points believes Ramos has become a zealot, advocating far-left positions that most Americans reject,” O’Reilly said.

“Those who despise Trump are trying to use the Ramos incident as another example of his immaturity and hostility to those with whom he disagrees,” he continued.

“But if you step back and look at it objectively, who’s really being up front with the American people: An anchorman who has become a political activist, or a candidate who states his case and takes the heat? You make the call.”
