Man SHOT as Ferguson protesters mark Brown anniversary; stage ‘SICK’ pig roast

On the one-year anniversary of Michael Brown’s death in Ferguson, Missouri, protesters marched Saturday for justice and peace … and then the gunfight started.

After a day of marked with symbolism like upside down American flags and a roasted pig with a police hat,  authorities said 12 shots were fired at a local McDonald’s, causing a black man to be hit in the arm, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The protests and shooting came one year to the date when black teenager Michael Brown was shot by white police officer Darren Wilson after Brown reached for Wilson’s gun. Wilson was cleared of any wrongdoing by a grand jury.

Police say the shooting began at the McDonald’s and continued to the adjacent Family Dollar store, where the man was shot and injured, the Post-Dispatch reported.

An unmarked police car also had a window shot out.

What a way for protesters to say “Black Lives Matter.”

“Embarrasses” wasn’t strong enough for other social media users.
