It’s no surprise that author, immigration expert and conservative provocateur Ann Coulter was tuned into Thursday night’s Republican debates – and ruffling feathers along the way.
Coulter took to Twitter to take a swipe at presidential candidate Jeb Bush’s answers on immigration.
For Coulter, Bush was all talk.
Bush on “border security”: Talk, talk talk — all people hear is that he’s going to let his wife’s relatives in.
— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) August 7, 2015
Bush is married to Columba Bush, a Mexican-American who is often cited as the source of the former Florida governor’s soft stance on illegal immigration.
Lest anyone forget, Bush was excoriated in January when he said his plan to deal with the epidemic of illegal aliens pouring over the U.S. border was to “figure out where they are and politely ask them to leave.”
Coulter isn’t going to let up on Bush, and was in fine form when she tweeted her politically incorrect jab. Her fans ate it up.
