Republicans can’t be afraid of shutting down the government if it means defunding Planned Parenthood.
That was the message presidential contender Donald Trump brought to radio conservative host Hugh Hewitt’s show Tuesday. And it’s the tactic Republicans should have been using against Obamacare in 2013, Cruz said.
“If the Republicans stuck together you could’ve done it with Obamacare also but the Republicans decided not to stick together and they left a few people out there, like Ted Cruz,” he said.
“If they stuck together they would’ve won that battle,” Trump added. “I think you have to in this case also.”
