Sarah Palin: Planned Parenthood ‘targets’ black women; that’s where the money is

palinPlanned Parenthood targets black neighborhoods for the same reason notorious bank robber Willie Sutton targeted banks:

Because that’s where the money is.

That was the message a feisty Sarah Palin brought in a rare appearance Wednesday on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” to discuss the Planned Parenthood scandal involving undercover videos exposing the sale of tissue from aborted babies, and a controversial photo the former governor of Alaska posted on social media.

The photo, featuring a Confederate flag and the Planned Parenthood logo, included the caption: “Which symbol killed 90,000 black babies last year?”

Asked by host Bill O’Reilly to explain the point of the photo, Palin said it was “symbolic of the political correctness absurdity and the absurdity of [our] priorities,” saying people are “paying a whole lot more attention to the flag controversy than they are about Planned Parenthood.”

Palin went on to ask where is “the outcry about what is actually going on with innocent human life, and how can civilized society even accept what’s going on?”

When O’Reilly pressed her on the racial aspect of the message, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate said Planned Parenthood targets “disadvantaged” minority women.

“Planned Parenthood is in the business of finding targets,” Palin added. “That is why, Bill, 80 percent of Planned Parenthood shops are set up in minority neighborhoods.”

She said the nation’s largest provider of abortions makes these women “feel that they’re not capable enough … to give their child life.”

O’Reilly asked why she believes Planned Parenthood is targeting minority women.

“Planned Parenthood is a bogus business,” Palin replied. “They’re in it to make money. They are in it to profit, and they have profit. And that’s why our tax dollars should not go to Planned Parenthood … They need to be shut down.”
