No time to mourn: After Marines killed, Obama runs off to fundraiser and Broadway show – what, no golf?

In the aftermath of four U.S. Marines being killed by a local Kuwait-born Muslim in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the White House announced Friday that President Barack Obama would fly to New York City that evening to attend a fundraiser.

And take in a Broadway show.

Just hours after the shooting, the White House announced that Obama would attend the Democratic National Committee fundraiser Friday night and stay in New York overnight to attend a matinee showing of the Broadway show “Hamilton” with his daughters, Malia and Sasha, The Hill reported.

The Obama White House also extended best wishes for a happy Eid-ul-Fitr to U.S. Muslims in the hours after the deaths of the four Marines.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

on wussy comments about Marines killed on US soil

Such seemingly callous behavior from the president in the wake of tragedies of this nature is commonplace.

“Less than 24 hours after the . . . Benghazi attacks, he jetted off to Las Vegas for a fundraiser. After American journalist James Foley was beheaded by ISIS, he hit the golf course,” Townhall reporter Katie Pavlich reminded readers on Friday.

Noah Wehrman summed up Obama’s actions well with this remark on social media.
