With #BlackLivesMatter protesters turning on one of their own on the campaign trail, Republican candidates may as well write off any thoughts of visiting Baltimore.
In his own backyard, newly declared Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley, the former governor of Maryland, was heckled by race agitators spouting manufactured outrage over perceived police brutality toward young black men.
And that’s WITH some world class pandering from the liberal politician.
Saying “there is something to be offered to our country from those flames,” O’Malley appeared supportive of the violence and destruction that took place in Baltimore.
The looting, burning and mayhem was “about everything it is supposed to mean to be an American,” he said.
Nevertheless, the protesters were there to be heard, not to listen — even if the Democrat was kissing their backsides — Â and they continually blew annoying “shrill whistles” to ensure that they were.
With social media users acting as roving reporters, the pathetic display was made available for all to see. “What a dope” summed up the reaction pretty well.
Here’s a sampling of some of the posts, and reactions to O’Malley’s supportive remarks, from Twitter.
