Obama nailed for talking to Coast Guard class about ‘climate change’ instead of real problems

Even though Islamic State militants just overran Ramadi, the capital of Iraq’s second-largest province and just 70 miles from Baghdad, President Obama told Coast Guard Academy graduates Wednesday that climate change is a threat to America’s national security.

“I’m here today to say that climate change constitutes a serious threat to global security, an immediate risk to our national security, and – make no mistake – it will impact how our military defends our country,” Obama said while delivering a commencement address.

And while Obama does little about events on the ground in Iraq, he cautioned the graduates that it’s “a dereliction of duty” to do nothing about climate change, according to Fox News.

As a humanitarian crisis unfolds in the Middle East, the hypocrisy was too much for some social media users, who responded to a tweet posted by the president from his new “personal” Twitter account.
