A woman dressed in a Subway sandwich shop uniform ignited a firestorm for the national sandwich chain Sunday with a Facebook posting celebrating the cold-blooded murders of two Mississippi police officers Saturday night.
“2 police officers was shot in hattiesburg tonight.!” Sierra “C-Babi” Mccurdy exhorted in a Facebook message.
“We can turn this bxtch into Baltimore real quick,” she posted in another message. “Police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it, fxck them…[no mercy].”
A routine traffic stop turned deadly for the two Mississippi police officers Saturday — and two brothers and a woman have been arrested.
The shooting started about 8:30 p.m., when a Hattiesburg police officer pulled a vehicle over and called another officer to assist, according to news reports.
Details of what occurred then were unvailable, but one of the men is suspected of stealing one of the officers’ patrol cars before fleeing the scene. The men were discovered the officers on the ground by passing motorists.
Officers Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25, died shortly after being admitted to a local hospital
A Twitter user using the handle “Leah the Boss” first picked up on Leah’s hate-filled posts, and tweeted:
Please make her famous. #Hattiesburg What a disgusting animal. pic.twitter.com/7IQOkU6W4b

“Annie Mae” then grabbed the baton from “Leah” and took off running — with an additional piece of information on McCurdy:

It wasn’t long before others took notice, and an avalanche of tweets was the result, with many of them calling for Subway to do something about it.

I can’t be certain, but I have a strong feeling that come Monday, Subway is going to be minus one sandwich-maker.
UPDATE:
Subway didn’t even wait until Monday to get rid of McCurdy.
“This behavior is unacceptable & does not represent our brand’s values & ethics,” Subway tweeted Sunday night, according to the New York Post. “The franchise has terminated the employee.”
