New York Time best-selling author Brad Thor thinks the shooting in Garland, Texas, that left two Muslim extremists dead serves as a reminder of why we have constitutional protections.
Thor — a noted conservative novelist — echoed the sentiments patriots have been espousing for years: That the First and Second amendments are dependent on each other.
“The #GarlandAttack is a reminder of why we have both a 1st and a 2nd Amendment…,” he tweeted.
Many in the Twitterverse applauded Thor’s statement, including one who said “It reinforces why our founding fathers thought to put those very two first with one right behind the other!”
