President Obama brought his “anger translator” to Saturday’s annual White House Correspondent’s Dinner, saving his sharpest attack for those who question the liberal climate-change mantra.
Comedian Keegan-Michael Key, 44, reprised his role of “Luther, Obama’s anger translator” from Comedy Central’s hit show, “Key and Peele” — the first time Obama saw the portrayal live.
The president didn’t waste any time recruiting Luther for attacks on Fox News and even CNN.
“Despite our differences, we count on the press to shed light on the most important issues of the day,” Obama said.
“And we can count on Fox News to terrify old white people with some nonsense,” Luther chimed in. “‘Sharia law is coming to Cleveland! Run for the damn hills!’ That was ridiculous.”
“And, CNN, thank you so much for the wall-to-wall Ebola coverage,” Luther added. “For two whole weeks, we were one step away from ‘The Walking Dead.’ Then y’all got up and just moved on to the next day. That was awesome. ‘Oh, and by the way, if you haven’t noticed, you don’t have Ebola!’”
By the end of Luther’s appearance, the president had taken up the anger translator mantle himself, taking aim at skeptics of manmade climate change.

“The science is clear, the science is clear. Nine out of the 10 hottest years ever came in the last decade,” Obama said. “I mean, look at what’s happening right now. Every serious scientist says we need to act. The Pentagon says it’s a national security risk. Miami floods on a sunny day, and instead of doing anything about it, we’ve got elected officials throwing snowballs in the Senate.”
It was almost as if Obama forgot the correspondent’s dinner is traditionally a lighthearted affair.
“It is crazy! What about our kids? What kind of stupid, short-sided irresponsible bull…” Obama said, before he was cut off by Luther, who told the president he didn’t need a translator, he needed a counselor.
