Author says racism not over until a cop shoots ‘a white unarmed teenager in the back’

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Author Toni Morrison, the black literary sage who once referred to Bill Clinton as “America’s first black president,” is making headlines again with some of the most vulgar, racially charged words imaginable.

In an interview with English newspaper “The Telegraph” published Sunday Morrison gave her prescription on how to end racial discrimination in America. By murdering a white teenager.

“People keep saying, ‘We need to have a conversation about race,’” she said. “This is the conversation. I want to see a cop shoot a white, unarmed teenager in the back, and I want to see a white man convicted for raping a black woman. Then when you ask me, ‘Is it over?’ I will say yes.”

Time Magazine covers featuring Toni Morrison.

Perhaps Morrison never heard the case of Gilbert Collar from Mobile, Ala., shot and killed by black cop Trevis Austin on Oct, 6 2012. Austin was never charged with a crime

If she hasn’t heard of it, and it seems like she hasn’t, you can’t blame her because, in stark contrast to the cases of Michael Brown, Eric Garner and Trayvon Martin deaths, this case received almost no media attention outside of Alabama.

Though it’s harder to imagine she never heard the case of Betty Jean Owens, a black woman raped by four white men in Florida in 1959.

Outrage! Judge hammers white victims of armed home invasion for racism, lets criminal go free.

In that case all four white assailants were convicted and given life sentences.

Therefore, according to Morrison’s own vile words, racism is over in America.

It was nonsense when she said it. It’s nonsense now. But the Twitterverse had plenty to say about Morrison’s disgusting, racist comments.
