Ted Cruz takes a shot at Eric Holder during gun-range campaign stop

On a campaign stop at a gun rang in New Hampshire Sunday, Ted Cruz took the opportunity of a malfunctioning microphone to take a shot President Obama’s attorney general in the Justice Department.

With the April 19 anniversary of the battles of the Lexington and Concord, Mass., that started the fighting of the American Revolution, Cruz hawked his pro-Second Amendment votes to the crowd at the Londonberry Fish & Game Club in Litchfield, N.H. , according to Politico.

At least he did until the microphone went out of service on him. Cruz joked that Attorney General Eric Holder was behind it.

The snafu didn’t stop Cruz, though.

Probably the best move he could have made.
