At this rate, likely 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton may never step foot in another Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurant. Not that she’s normally a big fan of the chain eatery anyway.
Clinton has been ridiculed mercilessly since stopping in at an Ohio Chipotle on Monday to show the country that she’s just regular folk like you and me. The latest to ding her was former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, according to ABC News.
The probable Republican presidential contender said he eats at the restaurant — and manages to enjoy his food without a Secret Service detail, unlike Clinton.
“‘Do I go there? Yeah, I go there,” Bush told reporters Thursday at an event in New Hampshire. “Drive my own car, park my own car, get out of my own car, get Chipotle, take it home. But we normally cook our own food, my own Mexican food at home. It’s pretty good.”
Bush’s wife, Columbia, is Mexican.
Interestingly, when the New Hampshire event was over, Bush got into a black SUV — in the passenger seat.
