They’re lovin’ it! McDonald’s protesters have no problem pigging out … on McDonald’s!

America’s self-proclaimed “capitalist pig” Jonathan Hoenig was confronted with some glaring hypocrisy on the streets of Chicago Wednesday when he spotted fast food protesters, eating fast food.

Despite lambasting McDonald‘s and other chain restaurants for not raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, some not-so-dedicated activists apparently couldn’t resist the tempting smell of Mickey D’s and decided to have some for dinner.

The #Fightfor15 movement has spread over several cities, shutting down traffic and wreaking havoc as Americans try to get to work and go about their business. The nationwide protest funded by the Service Employees International Union was reported to have closed down at least one McDonald’s in New York City.

But in Chicago, it was a different story.

The hypocrisy wasn’t lost on Hoenig who supplied Twitter with some unbelievable pictures begging for commentary.

Tweeters did not disappoint:

But then you just need to raise minimum wage again, don’t you get it Asa White?

You really can’t. Good thing Hoenig was there to document it.
