Sheer terror in Sandra Bullock’s frantic 911 call; she hides in closet after stalker breaks in home

Sheer terror practically leapt from Sandra Bullock‘s voice when she told a 911 operator that a stalker broke into her home.

The beloved Oscar-winning actress frantically told the dispatcher that she had taken refuge in her closet, according to audio played at a preliminary court hearing for the intruder.

“Someone has broken into my house. I’m hiding in the closet,” she told the operator. “I hear them, I hear someone banging on the door.”

After the harrowing 911 call was played Thursday in court, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Terry A. Bork ruled that Joshua Corbett will stand trial for the June 2014 break-in, saying evidence showed he stalked Bullock and had an arsenal of illegal assault weapons in his home.

Bullock heard someone breaking in, then saw the intruder walking through her house.

Authorities arrived 15 minutes after the call and found Joshua James Corbett holding a love letter that showed just how much of a threat he was to Bullock.

“As you are my wife by law, the law of God, and you belong to me and me to you,” Corbett said in the letter, read aloud in court by a detective.

Corbett, 39, was not armed at the time, but police found the illegal weapons and duct tape at his home, Fox News reported. He faces 26 felony charges.

If convicted on three felony counts of burglary, stalking and possession, Corbett faces more than seven years in prison, according to CNN. Possible felony weapons charges could add another 12 years.
