Read doctor’s angry sick note that hit a nerve world-wide

A purported doctor’s note from Canada has hit a nerve world-wide.

The note, excoriating the company whose policy forced  Kirby Reding to see a doctor for a common cold, has not been verified, but was posted on Reddit by someone who said he’s a friend of the “patient.”

Fox News‘ “Outnumbered” had some fun with the subject Thursday with guest Dr. Marc Siegel .

It has been viewed over 4 million times and counting.

Kirby has had, by their own report, a cold today and sensibly stayed home from work rather than spreading this to his colleagues/customers.

I have no test for the common cold and therefore believe him/her, however, you feel his time and mine should be wasted by making him sit in the walk in clinic for hours and me spending time writing a sick note that I could be spending on people who genuinely need attention.

Please reconsider your policy on this — there are surely better ways of wasting your tax dollars.
