Listen to White House’s cowardly answer: ‘Do you still think Bergdahl served with honor & distinction?’

When the administration chose to exchange five terrorists for the freedom of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, Ambassador Susan Rice jumped right on TV to assure everyone that the deserter had served with “honor and distinction.”

“Do you still believe Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction?” Fox News’ Ed Henry asked White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest on Friday.

“I don’t want to be in a position of commenting on an ongoing military justice investigation,” Earnest said.

“What do you say, though, to the families of at least six American soldiers who believed to have died, who were killed trying to find someone who is now accused of being a deserter?” Henry asked. “What do you say to those families?”

“I would say the same thing to them that I would say to all of the families across the country that have paid such a dear price for the service of their loved ones in Afghanistan, which is that we deeply value their service and their commitment to this country,” Earnest told him.

That’s funny, Susan Rice had no problem commenting.
