Krauthammer: Obama’s dislike for Netanyahu blinds him to ‘our only ally’

Hate is such a strong word, especially when talking about world leaders.

But that’s the term Fox News host Greta Van Susteren fell back on when discussing the relationship between President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Charles Krauthammer joined Van Susteren in the studio Wednesday to discuss House Speaker John Boehner’s interview with Fox News colleague Bret Baier, where Boehner said that the Obama administration doesn’t even try to hide its antipathy toward Netanyahu.

Krauthammer praised the speaker’s honesty.

“I thought that was refreshing candor because it is very true, and it’s good to hear it from someone at high level of the speaker about that,” he said of Boehner’s comment, adding the poor relationship distorts Obama’s judgment on how to treat Israel and his negotiations with Iran over their nuclear ambitions.

“Bret uses a nice word like ‘antipathy,'” Van Susteren said. “I say the two of them, President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu, hate each other.”

Such a strong word.
