Cats are supposed to have nine lives, but this is extreme.
Bart the cat from Tampa, Fla., was hit by a car Thursday and pronounced dead by veterinarians.
His grieving owners buried him in their backyard.
Then a miracle happened.
Five days later he showed up at their neighbor’s back door looking for something to eat.
“He came up looking for food. He was hungry,” neighbor Dusty Albritton told WTVT Fox 13. “I knew there was something wrong, because I knew this cat was buried five days earlier and he was underground.
“I took him to the owner and he opened the door and he was in complete shock because he knew this cat was dead. There’s no logical explanation and we just say it’s God’s miracle.”
Somehow, Bart managed to revive himself and claw his way out of the grave, earning him the nickname “Bart The Zombie Cat.”
Vets said Bart will lose an eye but is expected to survive.
