Woodward takes Obama to task on national security: ‘Clearly the world is not safer’

Legendary reporter Bob Woodward hit the mark Sunday describing the state of world under during the Barack Obama presidency.

On “Fox News Sunday,” the veteran Washington observer said the world is “clearly not” safer than it was a year ago, as Obama had claimed while vacationing in Hawaii last week.

Host Chris Wallace put the question to Woodward directly: “Is the world safer than it was a year ago?”

“Well, it clearly is not, and Obama has contradicted himself on that because he’s declared war on ISIS and said not just are we going to contain it but we are going to destroy it,” he said.

“So there’s lots of danger out there.”

Woodward has figured it out. Maybe the White House will too.
