NFL star breaks down in tears over birth of his daughter during post-game interview

Indianapolis Colts star T.Y. Hilton couldn’t contain his tears during a post-game interview on a very emotional day. Early Sunday morning, his wife, Shantrell, gave birth to their baby daughter, Eugenia, three weeks early.

After being with his wife in the hospital Hilton had to rush to the stadium, making it just in time to play. Even though he was operating on little sleep, he scored a 73-yard touchdown, fulfilling a promise he’d made to his newborn: that he’d score a touchdown for her.

After the touchdown, he cradled the ball like a baby and the crowd went wild with their support for this player on his emotional day.

Congratulations to the Hiltons!
