Remember Obamaphones?

The money waste scandal is so long ago it’s almost quaint in these days of utter lawlessness in the executive branch.

But the phone program that’s allegedly just for poor people still costing U.S. cellphone users $2.2 billion in fees on their monthly bills – and could well have played a role in getting the low-information, low-income, low-class vote to turn out in 2012 to re-elect the president.

News2, the CBS affiliate in Los Angeles, hit the streets in the City of Angels recently to find out just how crooked the Obamaphone program really is.

Even now, after years of Soviet-style government cynicism inspired by the Obama Era, it’s mind-boggling to see how easy it is to cheat taxpayers out of money under the guise of liberal compassion.

And remember, these people are getting paid to do it.

(Any bets on whether these folks do voter registration for Democrats once in a while?)
