Ex-CBS reporter Sharyll Attkisson blasts non-Fox media for ignoring Gruber videos

If anyone knows a media coverup, it’s former CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson.

And Attkisson and Washington Free Beacon journalist Ellison Barber appeared Sunday on Fox News to discuss the blatant media bias in protecting President Obama and his administration, in light of the “stupid American voter” videos that surfaced last week.

Along with host Howard Kurtz, they discussed how it took the rest of the media, other than Fox News, days to pick up on this bombshell of a story.

“The first thing that I thought of when I heard that — an equivalent video perhaps some might say, the Romney 47 percent video that was reported surreptitiously. I know my own network where I worked, CBS, jumped on that and aired it night after night,” Attkisson said.

Kurtz contended that Romney was a presidential candidate whereas Gruber isn’t a well known person.

“The difference that I think makes the Gruber video perhaps arguably more important is Romney is talking about, as a candidate, his own, sort of, political theory. Gruber’s talking about something that was actually imposed on the American people,” Attkisson said. “He’s saying this initiative was something they had to mislead and deceive the public about in order to get it passed. I think that’s big news.”

Barber said that since the video was shot for broadcast and was not secretly taped and grainy, its significance could not be downplayed. She also argued that many in the media may believe Obamacare has been covered enough but, “This is an incredibly important legislation that changed an entire industry. It’s something that people should be watching like a hawk.”

Or like a Fox.
