ABC exposes kids to almost X-rated sex scene seconds after Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

The Parent’s Television Council is up in arms over a sex scene that appeared on ABC’s “Scandal” following a showing of the Charlie Brown Halloween special, reported the New York Daily News.

“Shame on ABC for putting a peep show next to a playground,” PTC president Tim Winter said in a statement. “In less than 26 seconds we were taken from the Peanuts pumpkin patch to a steamy ‘Scandal’ sex scene.”

If the parent’s left the room for so much as one minute at the end of the show it was too late.

“Unless parents had the remote control in their hand, thumb on the button and aimed directly at the TV screen, they didn’t have a chance,” Winter said. “Such a transition is grossly irresponsible by the network and entirely unfair for parents. ABC owes families an apology.

“Network programmers know the importance of audience flow when constructing their broadcast schedule, and in fact they build their schedules around audience retention rates,” he continued. “So they know full well the importance of program adjacency. The juxtaposition of a reliably classic family friendly children’s cartoon special like the ‘Great Pumpkin’ – a huge family draw every year for decades – with such a graphic bedroom scene is unjustifiable. We call on ABC to apologize for its actions and to promise not to do such a thing in the future.”

Such a display from “Scandal” should come as a shock to no one. The show has increasingly moved toward a liberal hodgepodge of debauchery.

In the second episode of the fourth season, a school shooting occurs before the fictional president’s State of the Union address. The president devotes his speech to an antigun agenda.

“The right to bear arms was set in stone in the Constitution by our Founding Fathers… so was slavery, by the way,” he said. “The right to bear arms is indisputable … until the shooter comes in. Until you’re Lisa Elliott covered in blood, watching a little girl take her last breath. Watching the life go out of her eyes. And that… that is where the arguments ends. That is when the debate is over. How many other people’s children are we going to let die before we put a stop to this?”

So in the black-is-white world of liberalism, the massive theft of human liberty is known as slavery is equated with the protection of human liberty guaranteed by the right to self-defense.

Likewise, The creator of “Scandal,” Shonda Rhimes, goes out of her way to promote homosexuality on the show by including graphic gay sex scenes, then denies they are about gay sex at all.

Rhimes recently addressed the issue by responding to a Twitter user named Felicia, who suggested  the scenes existed served the sole purpose of promoting homosexuality

“There are no GAY scenes. There are scenes with people in them. If you are suddenly discovering that Shondaland shows have scenes involving people who are gay, you are LATE TO THE PARTY. If u use the phrase “gay scenes”, u are not only LATE to the party but also NOT INVITED to the party. Bye Felicia. #oneLOVE.”

That’s the context that makes the programming decision to put “Scandal” on immediately after a revered children’s television classic so disturbing, that the network allowed millions of children to be unwittingly invited to Rhimes’ propaganda party.

ABC has a lot of explaining to do.
