Petition to change the words to ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ drives fans nuts!

Buy me some apples and healthy snacks?

Jimmy Kimmel Live sent a couple to the World Series and asked them to pose as the parents of a boy, “Landon,” who suffers from a peanut allergy. The couple asked fans to sign a petition to get “buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks” removed from the beloved “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” song — out of sensitivity to their boy. Fans hilariously refused. Turns out the fans cared more about the tradition than the fake couple’s fake son and his debilitating peanut allergy.

Maybe next year.
