Sting sings phone ringtones; records awesome outgoing phone message for random fan

Sting showed off his incredible singing skills on Thursday’s “Tonight Show,” keeping it real with phone ringtones.

Jimmy Fallon chose a few popular tones and cued the band while the superstar purred out his own version of the music in a falsetto scat.

As a final cool move, a random audience member was chosen to have Sting record the outgoing message on his cell phone.

To the Police hit “Message In a Bottle,” he revamped the lyrics to go something like this:

“Sorry I’m away / Looks like you missed me, yo! / You just leave your name when you hear the beep, oh! / I hope that you will leave a / I hope that you will leave a message on my voice mail, yeah.”
