‘Get out of the water!’ Video captures panic as hammerhead shark heads to busy Florida beach

A shark approaching a crowded Florida beach generated feelings of sheer panic.

This video, posted on Facebook last week by Dan Flynn, shows a few bodies dangling in the water at a popular beach near Pensacola as a hammerhead shark estimated to be 7 to 10 feet long came straight toward them.

Flynn was filming from the Navarre Beach Pier as others were screaming, “Shark!” and “Get out of the water!”

Fortunately, the shark lost interest and went back out to sea.
