‘Watters’ World’ tests study’s conclusion that pot affects the brain

A recent study showing that even limited marijuana use adversely affects the brain was confirmed after being put to the test at Denver’s 4/20 pot festival last weekend.

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly sent sidekick Jesse Watters out to interview festival participants, and most appeared to have little memory or care of world events. One sounded surprised that the following day was Easter. “Uh, that kinda sneaked up on me,” he said.

And it wasn’t just the 21-and-over set who attended. Watters interviewed at least one girl as young as 13.

“The greatest argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter,” Winston Churchill once said. The group attending the 4/20 celebration doesn’t necessarily represent the average voter — yet. However, if efforts to legalize pot use nationwide succeed, the day may come when it does.
