President Obama bows to a Japanese robot before their public playdate

President Obama was introduced to ASIMO — an acronym for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility — while visiting the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Japan, and following its lead, the president bowed before the Japanese robot.

A robot that he would later describe as “a little scary,” CNN reported.

Obama stopped by the museum on Thursday for a look at some of Japan’s latest technological advances.

‘Squatters’ took over soldier’s home after he
was deployed; outrageous law lets them stay!

“That was pretty impressive,” Obama said after ASIMO kicked a soccer ball to him during a demonstration, according to CNN.

Later in the day, Obama told a group of students: “We saw some truly amazing robots — although I have to say the robots were a little scary.”

A confession that leaves one to wonder what his innermost thoughts are about Russian President Vladimir Putin.
