Candid Dem. congressman says Obamacare ‘going to hit the fan’ for Democrats in November

U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch is one Democrat who can say “I told you so.”

stephenlynchmubh0421The only Massachusetts representative to vote against the Obamacare monstrosity in 2009 is warning that the worst is still to come.

In an interview Friday with Boston Herald Radio, Lynch said the real damage of the Democrats’ overhaul of the health-care system hasn’t started to surface yet.

“There’s all these taxes and fees that are the tough medicine, that up to now they haven’t implemented. I don’t know who’s going to do that,” Lynch said. “Maybe … they expect the next administration is going to put these penalties in place. I think that’s the time it’s going to hit the fan.”

It’s also going to hit the fan for the Democrats who voted for it, Lynch said.

“We will lose seats in the House,” Lynch said, providing a welcome breath of honest from a party that gets its main talking points from U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

“I am fairly certain of that based on the poll numbers that are coming out from the more experienced pollsters down there. And I think we may lose the Senate. I think that’s a possibility if things continue to go the way they have been … primarily because of health care.”
