Vice President Joe Biden launched his Instagram account Wednesday with a “selfie” of him and President Barack Obama, a photo that went on to serve as a prime source of entertainment for social media users.

While it’s nice that the Obama administration can offer the folks such gaiety, there are serious issues facing the country and Fox News contributor Monica Crowley was quick to put things into “brutal perspective,” as Twitchy coined it:
