U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy was on fire once again as he laid into IRS Commissioner John Koskinen over production of emails from former IRS supervisor Lois Lerner during Wednesday’s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing.
The committee requested those emails six months ago. When they weren’t produced, the committee subpoenaed the IRS. Since the subpoena was served on the agency, emails have come — but only in a few at a time. Gowdy wants to know why.
