Ann Coulter: I’ve never seen evidence GOP hates black people until I read Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill

Participating in a CPAC 2014 panel discussion Saturday, syndicated columnist and best selling author Ann Coulter slammed the GOP, saying the immigration bill championed by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio was evidence that “Republicans hate black people.”

In a tribute to William F. Buckley Jr.’s “Firing Line”, Coulter was debating liberal journalist Mickey Kaus, with Townhall’s Jonathan Garthwaite moderating.

“I mean my whole life I’ve heard Republicans hate black people, I’ve never seen any evidence of it until I read Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill,” she charged. “We are the party that has always stood up for African-Americans. Who gets hurt the most by amnesty, by continuing these immigration policies it is low-wage workers, it is Hispanics, it is blacks.”

Sarah Palin shines at CPAC with version of Dr. Suess:
‘We will not take it – nope, nope, nope!’

Coulter equated immigration reform efforts to amnesty, suggesting President George W. Bush and U.S. Sen John McCain were hurt as much by the issue in the past as Rubio has been more recently.

Agreeing with an assessment last month by Kaus that amnesty is like a zombie, she said, “We can’t kill it, they [GOP] keep going back to it.”

And of course stupid Ann’s comment will be used in context….NOT. When will she shut her mouth?

When conservatives stop paying her? She spews her BS for the same reason any of the big name conservative talking heads do, someone pays them.

I am afraid she is right. Adding millions of new workers to a economy that has to many now. will result in more people put out of work and those people will be the Blacks and Hispanics, The illegals will get the jobs instead of Americans. A employer can be fined for no hiring Illegals

    1. Pamela K. Cahoon Laub says:

The government will reward businesses for hiring illegal aliens and fine them for hiring American citizens.

But yet Ann Coulter has had an inexplicable (from a Conservative’s view point) love affair w/ Chris Christie, who is pro-Amnesty.

    1. Subcomandante Goatz says:

That’s because she’s not a conservative at heart. She’s an establishment Republican who knows where the money is in Republican media these days. She saw Christie as the only Republican with a shot at beating Hillary, before he crashed and burned over petty and stupidly executed thuggery.

    2. Wcharnock says:

She is no longer in Christie’s Corner..you do not know what you are talking about…go look this up…I’m right

  4. Richard McGrath says:

Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill, She called it what it is. Amnesty. Not the liberal spin “immigration reform”

    1. Subcomandante Goatz says:

Funny, Republicans loved amnesty when Reagan was backing the deal.

      1. butterflyinoh says:

        Actually, no they didn’t!!!

      2. Ray says:

And then they saw how it failed and moved on from it.

        1. Eric G says:

But that’s the problem w/ the left. They cannot acknowledge a program of theirs does not work; their only solution is to keep throwing more money into it and hope that someday the house will pay off.

      3. Isabella1709 says:

Ok troll, you are just an idiot for saying that. NO REPUBLICANS DID NOT LOVE AMNESTY. Reagan was wrong and we learned from that experiment.

  5. Firey Hooks says:

No one really knows how many illegal aliens occupy our land. The estimates run from 12 to 20 million.

  6. Texas Belle says:

I think the Amnesty bill is dead for now. If the November election accomplishes what we hope maybe some common sense will prevail in solving the illegal alien problem.
I am disappointed in Coulter for endorsing Christie who fawned all over Obama after the hurricane. Of course Obama probably told him he had to do that in order to get the necessary money for cleaning up the destruction, but as President he would be too inclined to butter anyone’s bread who showed him enough “green”.
