Now that 2014 is officially here, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, wasted little time in getting back to work.
Unlike most of his moderate counterparts in the GOP, Cruz continues to pound the drum for a full repeal of the so called Affordable Care Act, and Thursday he tweeted a link to a Heritage article on new taxes and fees brought on by the law, complete with an image of Dr.Evil to drive home his point:

The post prompted a quick response from many on the right, to include the Washington Free Beacon’s Lachlan Markay and even Cruz staffer Amanda Carpenter, as captured by Twitchy:

As one can imagine, the left was aghast that Cruz would dare make such an association.
