A Democrat looking for a positive message to start 2014 might want to skip the Democratic National Committee website.

Much of the Democrats.org homepage discusses Republicans’ push to impeach President Obama.

“What do these people all have in common?” the site asks, then lists these quotes from notable Republicans:

“People may start to use the I-word before too long.” – Sen. James Inhofe, Okla.

“We can have an impeachment hearing in the House and in my mind the president has committed impeachable offenses.” – Rep. Michele Bachmann, Minn.

“If I could write that bill and submit it, it would be a dream come true.” – Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, Mich.

“If we were to impeach the president tomorrow, you could probably get the House of Representatives to do it.” – Rep. Blake Farenthold, Texas

“Show these Republicans that they are way, way off-base, and give President Obama a Congress that has his back,” the site says, adding that only 17 seats are needed to “take back the House.”

The organization continued the theme in an email to supporters, according to The Daily Caller.

As if that weren’t enough, a contribution page on the site has this note of encouragement:

Republicans are backed by special interests and Wall Street. But we proved last year that through grassroots advocacy, we can still win. We’re in debt right now — but with your help, Democrats will continue to win in 2013, 2014 and beyond.

And don’t forget to “chip in” before midnight Tuesday.

It’s all BS because most all Repubs/Dems including the President are controlled by Wall Street. Wall Street big time opposed to the reinstatement Of FDR Glass Steagall Act sponsored by Rep Marcy Kaptur/Senator Elizabeth Warren and others which is the only option to dump Wall Street in order to restore the US Credit System For We The People Not They The Wall Street Bankers. The debt bubble is now in the multi- quadrillions ready to explode because of the repeal of the FDR Glass Steagall Act in late 90’s. I consider myself an FDR/JFK Democrat but todays Democratic Party and the Republican Party leadership has gone completely astray from the values of the American System. It’s sad but The US Constitution is now nothing but a picture on the wall….

What a lie. The Dems are not grass roots. Obama got most of his money from the rich and from the union Pacs.
We just need to weed the progressives from the GOP!!

  3. Chad3434 says:

Vote out all Democrats and any Republicans who when along with them. We can get quite a few Republicans on this budget deal including Johnny Isakson and Chambliss from my home state GA.

NO we must NOT allow the dems AND repubs to win and control congress!
THEY HAVE RUINED THIS NATION AND HAVE BEEN IN POWER LONG ENOUGH!
AND WE MUST GET RID OF OBAMA ONE WAY OR ANOTHER RIGHT NOW!

Who are you backing the Whigs or the Mugwumps?

  5. Cold War Vet says:

We all know this guy has committed impeachable offenses. But all there is is “talk” of impeachment. What’s holding up the train? Are our elected leaders “afraid” to submit a bill of impeachment? Like Judge Mills Lane used to say on Death Match, ” there’s only one thing on my mind…Let’s get it on”!

Obama will not be impeached. There are too many people who are in love of the idea of a Black president. It doesn’t matter how he fails, the corruption or the violations of the Constitution. It is about affirmative action and putting the diversity face on the Presidency.

      1. Cold War Vet says:

Sadly you’re exactly correct. It’s hypnosis like I’ve never seen. To admit that you (a person) know the man in the highest office in the nation is untruthful in just about everything that he says and still support him is beyond common sense and the way most of us were raised 50 plus years ago. A truly sad time for our country. .

  6. Chad3434 says:

What the heck, lets just all face the music. We have had the lick. Talk Republican, Democrat all you want. Blame this one and then blame that one. Bottom line it is over for us as far as our economy is concerned. A debt that can not be paid back. If interest rates climb to 5% then we owe one trillion dollars on that debt. How can we ever be expected to pay for that? The value of the dollar dropping like a rock. Bond market will get toasted and this bubble stock market will implode when interest rates start to climb. China, Russia and every one else dumping our currency like it is a hot potato. Our world reserve currency status is going by by, just give it time. Nothing and I mean noting is going to pull us out of this mess. We danced and now we will pay the fiddler. End of story.

It is all image and public perception. Anyone who takes the time to be informed, knows that Obama is a Wall Street/corporate lackey. The Democratic Party doesn’t represent the working stiff anymore. They use the politics of divisiveness, class warfare and victimology to fool their supporters. A simple look at the contributors list to Democratic candidates and PACs will show who they really represent..

  8. Lc Goodfellow says:

Liberals were so hungry for someone like Obama, he seemed like so much more than he really was.
ARE YOU KEEPING SCORE ? I have, this is what the record show’s.
Congressional Control: for 62 years, the I know best for you crowd.
U.S. House: 1951-2013, Rep. 9 times, Dem. 22 times. Two year terms
U.S. Senate: 1951-2013, Rep. 10 times, Dem. 23 times. Six year terms
    Need help with the math?
How did we ever get to where we are today?
    Count it over!
