Fox News’ Megyn Kelly sent the liberal left into a tailspin when she declared on her show Wednesday night that “Santa just is white” and “Jesus was a white man, too.”

Kelly was responding to Aisha Harris’ article on Slate.com called, “Santa Claus Should Not Be a White Man Anymore,” and asked the panel, “How do you revise it, in the middle of the legacy of the story, and change Santa from white to black?”

That segment then became a Yahoo! News “front page hit on Megyn Kelly,” which led Townhall writer Greg Hengler to hit back at Yahoo! for implying Kelly was “racist” for saying that Santa and Jesus are, and always have been, white.

Harris later responded to Kelly’s panel discussion, telling Yahoo!, “If you’re [Kelly] seriously emphatic that he is white and must remain white, there’s a good chance that your view of the rest of the world is just as limited and unimaginative. I mean, we are talking about a magical man who slides down your chimney every Christmas Eve. Just so we’re clear.”

Hengler, though, nailed it when he addressed Kelly’s critics, writing:

Megyn’s statement during the segment is a perfect response to those who are irrationaly ruled by their fragile emotions: “Just because it makes you feel uncomfortable doesn’t mean it has to change.”
