American teacher shot, killed in Benghazi

An American school teacher living and working in Benghazi was shot and killed while exercising on Thursday.

“He was doing his morning exercise when gunmen just shot him. I don’t know why. He was so sweet with everyone,” the director of the school Adel al Mansouri told Reuters.

“Fadyah al-Burghathi, spokeswoman for the Al-Galaa hospital, says the body of a man from Texas was brought to the hospital on Thursday with gunshot wounds,” according to the Associated Press.

“Medical and security sources told Reuters that the man was targeted by gunmen as he was exercising,” Fox News reported.

The American man was reportedly from Texas and taught chemistry at the international school in Benghazi and was shot while jogging near the U.S. Consulate.

No one has claimed responsibility for the shooting,

It’s been 15 months since the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Ty Woods and Glen Doherty.

This is all the fault of that guy who made that terrible film about the prophet muhammed. The should re-arrest him and put him back in jail for another year. These were probably some protestors from Egypt who were just now making it to Behghazi for the protest. Why in hell would anyone want to go work in these places.

You are so right. Our government responding to the family of of that U.S. citizen murdered would just have to be “WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE”. There will never be anyone questioned there, I guarantee it! Maybe CNN can go tomorrow and get the lowdown on this kind of thing that will most certainly happen again and again. They do not fear America in that region, “I wonder why”?

You are believing the administration’s propaganda. What happened at our embassy had nothing to do with the film. I saw a film of a Canadian reporter interviewing the people gathering outside the embassy before the attack that recorded the real reason. He interviewed the son of the “blind sheik” who was behind the first attack on the World Trade Center. He wanted his father released. It appears there were other political reasons, too.

Pamela, I am not at all believing anything this administration says. My post is mocking their version of events. I know full well that this was a well planned terrorist attack that was carried out with the blessings of our State Dept. as nothing was done to protect our personnel in Benghazi, Obama went to bed and went campaigning the next day. We are being ruled by tyrants.

That is terrible, but after what happened to those at our embassy why are there any Americans foolish enough to remain in Libya? Why didn’t the administration tell them all to leave? Whatever they are being paid isn’t worth a single American life.
