Pill-popping Obama in SNL’s hilarious ‘second-term strength’ anti-depressant ad

“Depressed? Run down? Like you just can’t win? . . . You may be suffering from presidential depression.”

In its latest attempt to capitalize on the unmistakable mess that Obama has made of his second term, the SNL crew published a doozy of a commercial for Paxil, second term strength, “the only anti-depressant strong enough for an embattled second term.”

“It feels like even your friends have turned against you,” the ad kicks off, with a clip of former President Bill Clinton slamming the Obamacare enrollment train wreck on television.

Promising to cover a list of symptoms including the Benghazi scandal, IRS, NSA, AP, Petraeus, Obamacare and more, the spot shows a distraught Obama popping the pills until he feels better.

The ad claims that “you can get back on your feet and start running the country again. With Paxil you’ll feel like you’re giving a speech at a college campus in 2008, or getting bin Laden all over again.”

But the drug comes with a disclaimer. “Warning, Paxil is not covered by Obamacare. We promised that it would be, but it’s not. And for that, we apologize.”

Good news for the GOP, the drug also comes in “Republican strength, for tea party related depression.”
