Bikers inspire a nation; media asleep at the wheel

What a ride for the estimated 80,000 patriotic bikers who converged on Washington to remember the victims and heroes from September 11, 2001 and our fallen four in Benghazi last year.

And what a ride for those of us who couldn’t attend, but followed the “2 Million Bikers to DC” event as closely as we could via social media and overloaded Internet servers carrying footage from DC street cameras.

Complaints rolled in with the bikers that the mainstream media didn’t cover the remembrance ride, but citizen journalists used their cell phone cameras and shot video to keep a hungry public updated with news.million muslim fail

Bikers seriously outnumbered those attending the “Million Muslim March,” which turned out to be an epic “fail,” as noted in one photo.

bikers pledgeKickstands went up around 11:00 am Wednesday morning at the Harley Davidson shop in Ft. Washington after the badass-looking patriots said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Then it was everyone on the gas as the bikers pulled out to show that America and Americans will never forget the worst terrorist attack against our country and to honor those who fought to save us from it ever happening again.

Thank you and God Bless the organizers of this event and all who participated and supported the “2 Million Bikers to DC.”  We will see you next year.
