The undergraduates at one liberal la-la land university have banned the use of the “racially derogatory” and hate-crime inducing I-word – illegal immigrants – on campus.

The student government at the University of California-Los Angeles recently passed a resolution banning the word “illegal immigrant” as a measure to improve “campus safety,” as well as saying the phrase “violates human rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution,” Campus Reform reported.

According to the article, the resolution read, in part:

The racially derogatory I-word endangers basic human rights including the presumption of innocence and the right to due process guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution.

Racially derogatory language… has historically bolstered the foundation for racially harmful actions including racial profiling practices, punitive policies targeting socially marginalized groups, hate crimes and violence.

The student government listened to the concerns of the illegal undocumented students who are worried about the high deportation record of the University’s new president, former Sec. of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano.
