The creepy cult of personality that surrounds President Obama is alive and well.
An American flag with Obama’s image in place of the stars made a comeback Saturday when people gathered at the National Mall to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s 1963 civil rights march on D.C.

The same flag sparked a national outcry last year when the Lake County, Fla., Democratic Party flew it along with the American flag on a flagpole outside its headquarters. Enraged local veterans demanded that the flag be taken down.
“It’s absolutely disrespectful,” Jim Bradford, a 71-year-old veteran who participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion told Fox News at the time. “It’s totally ridiculous. To put somebody’s picture there, to me, it’s a disgrace to do that.”
It’s not likely that Martin Luther King Jr., would have endorsed this flag, having once said: “I feel someone must remain in the position of non-alignment, so that he can look objectively at both parties and be the conscience of both—not the servant or master of either.”
As Twitchy.com documented, the desecrated flag was photographed from several different vantage points:
