Republican lawmakers in both the House and Senate are demanding new FBI Director James Comey make the Benghazi investigation a top priority.

Comey, who was just confirmed Monday to lead the agency, will soon receive a letter from eight Republicans expressing their frustration that 10-months after the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, not a single perpetrator has been brought to justice.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz and Sen. Lindsey Graham have started the letter because, they told Fox News, “the FBI is failing to interview key people connected with the militant group Ansar al-Sharia.”

According to the Fox report:

“Our FBI has never talked to these people, and that’s just wholly unacceptable,” Chaffetz said.

“This is a pathetic effort to bring people to justice,” Graham said, in a separate interview with Fox News.

Comey replaced former-FBI Director Robert Mueller.
