Pew poll: One-word description for Obama

What word do you think of when you think of President Obama?

Incompetent” is one of first things that comes out of American mouths when they’re asked for a quick impression of the president, according to a Pew Research Center Poll. That’s something he has in common with former President Bush, and something his admiring acolytes in the media have done everything they could to prevent.

obamabeenieAccording to Pew, among respondents asked for a one-word description of Obama, most responses were positive —  some variation of “good man.” But “incompetent” was No. 2.

At the same point in the Bush presidency, according to Pew, the first word used by most respondents to describe  him was “honest.”  “Incompetent” was also No 2.

Sound about even? Not even close.

Not when you consider that at this point in the Bush second term, the American people had been treated to five years of continuous assault by the mainstream media on the president. From the beginning with the Supreme Court’s Bush v. Gore decision that was used to question the very legitimacy of the man’s hold on office, through 9/11, the Washington sniper attacks, Afghanistan, Iraq and other crises, the disparagement was constant.

In almost every instance, Bush’s basic honesty was constantly called into question – “Bush lied, people died” — by the media and their Democrat overlords, yet the first word that came out of Americans’ mouths when asked about Bush was “honest.”

Obama, on the other hand, has had five years of whitewashing from the MSM, glowing assurances of his intellect, his passion, his “cool,” but the word “intelligence” isn’t even close to “incompetence” when it comes to how Americans describe him. (In fact, “intelligence” is even with “socialist,” according to Pew.)

Bush was assumed incompetent by the media could never shake their hostility.

Obama was assumed godlike by the media and has spent five years proving otherwise.

As scandals grow, lame-duck governing gets harder,  and the rumors of wars get louder, he’ll have the next three to finish the job.

So, how would you describe Obama in one word? (Keep it clean, please.)
