Embarrassed by reporter, Obama says, ‘maybe I should just pack up and go home’

President Barack Obama’s failures during the first 100 days of his second term were laid out for him on Tuesday — just in case he forgot.

The economy has been in the doldrums for President Obama’s entire administration. The president’s foreign policy has been marked by one failure after another. Last term’s Obamacare is getting less popular by the day. Apart from a few nutty environmentalists, the president’s green energy agenda has lost favor. The more people hear of the immigration reform bill the president desires looks less likely to happen.

Ignoring these, a reporter at the Tuesday morning press conference concentrated only on the president’s failures during the last 100 days: The meager gun background check bill that failed to pass a Democratically-held Senate, the failure to overrule the sequester cuts and a bill that the president tried to veto got 92 Democratic House members voting ‘yes.”

The president’s response? “Maybe I should just pack up and go home. Golly.”

He said it, not me.
