HuffPo edits Obama’s joke calling himself ‘strapping young Muslim socialist’

POTUS bangsFew expected to find much humor in President Obama’s stupid jokes at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but the level of cocky arrogance he displayed was frightening.

And the level of liberal, politically correct bias was in full display over at the Huffington Post who published an inaccurate version of one of Obama’s jokes.

The president swaggered up to the microphone Saturday night to the rap song, “All I Do is Win,” and boasted to the room of mostly liberal journalists and movie stars that this was what Rush Limbaugh had warned them about: “Second term, baby.” He then proceeded to joke (was it a joke?) about his radical second-term agenda.

One of the worst jokes Obama made, considering he doesn’t dare use words like “Muslim extremist,” was this:

“These days, I look in the mirror and I have to admit, I’m not the strapping young Muslim socialist that I used to be.”

If that wasn’t bad enough, the Huffington Post chose to publish an Associated Press version of that joke without the word “Muslim.”

Here is HuffPo’s original version of the AP story, “White House Correspondents’ Dinner: Obama Jokes About Radical Second-Term Changes,” published at 11:08 p.m. Saturday:

The Philadelphia Inquirer posted the AP story at 11:13 pm Saturday, which also has the word “Muslim,” as did the Fox News’ version of the exact same AP story.

Most other AP versions of the Obama Muslim socialist joke did include the word “Muslim.” Oddly, HuffPo was among a small handful of publications that printed an AP version without the word “Muslim.” Perhaps HuffPo didn’t think anyone would notice its original version of the President’s words, because they have since written another story using the actual quote.

skeet shoot picture obamaObama took jabs at the media, himself and host Conan O’Brien, and he mocked many of the news stories of his escapades, including the speculation his skeet-shooting picture was photo-shopped.

Blame Bush library“In lieu of a library, he’s going to build another ‘edifice’ next to the George W. Bush presidential library,” the Blaze reported in paraphrasing one jab, at his predecessor. “A giant billboard pointing to it saying, ‘His Fault.'”

On and on the painful jokes went, with America and Americans the butt of the humor used by the president of the United States.

And in case you forgot, folks, here is what Obama thinks of himself:

“My job is to be president. Your job is to keep me humble. Frankly, I think I’m doing my job better.”
