Four U.S. Senators touring the border as part of their work on immigration reform watched as a woman jumped over the fence from Mexico into Nogales, Ariz. Wednesday.

Sen. John McCain, who wants you to believe border security is constantly improving, immediately tweeted, “Just witnessed a woman successfully climb an 18-ft bollard fence a few yards from us in Nogales.”

The four members of the bipartisan “Gang of Eight” who are tasked with working on immigration issues and reform watched as Border Patrol agents quickly caught the woman.

McCain followed up with a tweet, “And Border Patrol successfully apprehended her, but incident is another reminder that threats to our border security are real.”
