Fox News interviewer Jesse Watters confronted Colorado Speaker of the House Mark Ferrandino last week to ask why his state legislature refused to vote in Jessica’s Law to protect children from sexual predators.
The Colorado lawmaker buried the bill in a committee so it wouldn’t get a vote, according to Bill O’Reilly, who aired the interview on The O‘Reilly Factor.
Ferrandino insisted his state’s laws on child predators and rapists are tough enough, a point easily refuted by Watters and a minimal amount of public records research.  Colorado is one of only six states that have not adopted the law.
