Now that the American car industry has basically been nationalized, don’t kid yourself — this video is not as far-fetched as it seems. The Obama administration’s central government planners do not like American cars. It’s not about air pollution or oil, either. It’s about control. If the transit mavens have their way, all of us would have to ride bikes, buses or trains, and only government employees would have real cars.
Putting all that aside, you have to hand it to BBC’s Jeremy Clarkson for having the guts to ride around in this deathtrap.
