Conservative political strategist Ralph Reed visited South Florida last February and addressed the Palms West Republican Club to kick off the 2012 election season. He also oversaw the launch of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Faith and Freedom Coalition which played a crucial role in getting out the conservative Christian vote in the county.
The FFC has had tremendous success turning out the Christian vote across the country the past four years. Some statistics from the 2012 election cycle, according to FFC’s website: “FFC makes over 122 million voter contacts to evangelicals, faithful Catholics, and other voters of faith in key states during the 2012 election season: 23 million pieces of voter education mail, 21 million Get-Out-The-Vote calls, 18 million SMS text and email messages, 30 million voter guides distributed in 117,000 churches, 250,000 door knocks and volunteer Get-Out-The-Vote calls, 5,800 radio ads in seven states, 300,000 Congressional Scorecards distributed and 1.977 million unregistered voters contacted.”
